Insights into TeamJobs
Areas for improvement
- Sense of belonging
- Energising work tasks
- Time and location flexibility
No training, No respect, Not appreciated
Its sad to see that people pay for professional cleaner and get team job's instead. There is no training when I was working on a job, There was another cleaner who worked for team jobs who had been working for 3 years as a cleaner did not no how to use products, did not know how to clean and using glass cleaner as antibacterial spray. Classic agency move. when will people no not to use an agency as a professional cleaners.

Fast paced environment
Bar Staff (Current Employee) - Poole, Dorset - 30 October 2019
Typical day at the Bar is fast-paced. The hardest part of the job is standing, because usually there is no time for breaks. Legs hurt at the end of the day. Most enjoyable part is having conversations with the staff and customers.

Fun and different workplace
Assistant (Former Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 16 July 2019
Very good company to work for. Very supportive and a challenging environment, differing job roles at each different organisation and allowed plenty of responsibility

Good for working students
Agency Worker (Former Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 5 October 2018
Working for team jobs is great for students as they offer 0 hour contracts. However, this does mean that you are not guaranteed work for every week and so you dont earn as much. However, it does pay well for the work you do do.
It is a great company to work for as you get to meet new people all the time and you get to work in lots of different places

It was great to work there but
Temp Worker (Former Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 28 September 2018
The only problem I had is the lack of job opportunities they would give you, only like last minute jobs where people found they were understaffed
But the job opportunities themselves were nice.
Cons
Lack of Work

Productive and demanding but rewarding
As an Assitant, I was required to help two house removal companies deliver household furniture.
I was working with a team of three, myself included. I was a non-driver.
As a team, we had to collect household furniture and transport them individually into the van. Sometimes I would assist others who were a bit slow. So common sense and using your initiative is vital.
The hardest part of the job was to deliver the furniture to the customers' new house as quick as possible. Sometimes it was demanding and I would need to quicken the pace. Though, for a beginner in this field of work, it does improve on one's time management skills.
What I enjoyed most about this job is that you're outside most of the day, you have a one hour break for lunch, get to talk to the customer; which I really enjoyed and go into newly furbished homes.
Overall, you rarely stop- so time quickly progresses and then its off home.
Pros
Outside all day and hours of work quickly go and get paid obviously.
Cons
Only one to two days work for most of the week.

Excellent Team
Testlink (Current Employee) - Poole, ENG - 17 August 2015
TeamJobs is fast and reliable for helping me find work. Great communication from all the team.
I moved down to Poole in 2014 and within 3 days of moving down to this area, Aimee and Vicki found me an assembly job which secured me with a fulltime employment contract with this
Overall I have always been impressed.
