Retail in London

Enjoyable working environment
Amazing culture and family environment if you work in retail sector. Head office lacks organisation, training and they rarely communicate across departments (of course I'm sure this doesn't apply to all departments). The Senior retail team are fantastic and definitely make you feel valued.
Data Architect in London

Directionless project
Seriously, the last time someone swore at me in a professional capacity in front of everyone was when I was in the armed forces. I would have thought that I am way beyond such experiences by now. The offending "project manager", if one could call him that, did not last long. The fact that the CEO was chucked during my tenure for groping girls did not help matters either.
Footwear in United Kingdom

I structured and too many layers of management
We were part of a team which was imported into Ted, and were formally providing footwear to Ted under licence agreement. We moved into Ted Jan 19 and there was a team of 18 people, who located from Pentland Brands to Ted, within a year the whole team had left Ted. There is no organisation and managers do not have the skills or knowledge to make informed decisions, they all seem to make short term decisions with no accountability for Perot decisions made. The people and product is what makes the difference and a reason to work their. I would definitely not advise a friend to work here, unless they wanted unnecessary heartache...

If your going for a production /merchandiser role they will make you do maths test while you wait in reception. Just google the answers on your phone. Coverting values i.e. 58Km to mt, Percentages, How many metres of fabric will you need to make 43 suit if one suit uses 1.4mts.
