Can I reapply for a job after being made redundant from Tesco

40 answers

  • Yes ok fine fot

  • Yes 6 months after you can reapply

  • In web side

  • Yes you can ... bring made redundant means a job has gone (not sacked a lot of you don’t know the difference!). You have to wait 6 months but will have the same oppourtunity as everyone else. You will not be put down the list, as long as you do well in the interview and match the shifts they are looking for, you stand a good chance of being re-employed. I know of a lot of people who were made redundant and then came back after 6 months, successfully completing the interview.

  • I was made redundant after 25 years and i was told i could get a job back after 6 months no luck after 18 months

  • If you were made redundant, why on earth would you even want to go back??? Have some self respect and apply elsewhere. They obviously made you redundant for a reason. Perhaps your skills will be valued elsewhere. Personally, if I was made redundant, I wouldn’t even shop there, let alone apply for a job, I would be too ashamed.

  • Wait 6 month, then you can reapply

  • Wow. Amazed at how many morons do not know the difference between 'made redundant' and 'fired', but still think they have a valid opinion!
Yes, apply away. Being made redundant does not place any restrictions on you.

  • You can apply but in my experience they won't employ you

  • Yes, you are free to reapply after 6 months from the date you were made redundant.
