Not a very good job

In my opinion there were barely any available shifts I could pick up (agency). I had to work as agency staff as I was studying in uni at the same time. I struggled to even pick up 2 shifts weekly which is ridiculous. I believe if a company doesn’t have many shifts available they should stop hiring!! Anytime I complained about this, they would say there’s nothing they can do about it. I did my whole tenure without a uniform and when I called to enquire about it so many times, I was just told “it was on the way”. I never received it even though I worked there for a few months. I wore my own clothes (black professional shirt and black trousers). Sometimes I would even be turned back home from the care homes for not wearing healthcare uniform which was not my fault! Not to mention, I often got booked in for a shifts and would find out that the shift was either overbooked or cancelled when I got to my destination. I would have to call them myself due to the permanent staff at care homes having confusion about me being there. TEZLOM’s management communication is really poor. Whenever I needed any help they wouldn’t have solutions to anything. Sometimes they would even take weeks to get back to me relating a certain issues. In general, it’s just a terrible company to work for especially as agency staff

Not my cup of tea, explained from the beginning, my experience was with children, I wouldn’t be comfortable working with the elderly… ended up having to work with the elderly. Was clear about having no experience with personal care… was expecting to do personal care…

Their team of HR are very supportive and made joining them very simple. I have recommended them to many of my friends in Bolton. Have never received speedy responses from any company as I got from Tezlom HR team.

Securing job

The process was long because of the requirement involved in getting employed in the company but i believe it is worth it. I was actually put on my toes with respect to training which is worth it. i would recommend the company to anyone willing to work

Amazing place to work

Support Worker (Current Employee) - Doncaster, South Yorkshire - 22 December 2022

The management are so helpful and motivating. As it is an agency you can choose when and where you work but this doesn’t mean there isn’t chance to excel. I went with this agency and ended up getting a permanent senior role at one of my places of work which was convenient for me and more reliable. I loved everything about this job the only thing they could improve on is the hourly wage.

Good working environment

Started week ago, stuff are very friendly and supportive. Wages are not competitive but if they pay for the transport that could compensate. Timesheet need to send manually but if it could be sent digitally what would be great.
