Within the areas I worked in? Laughable. If your face doesn’t fit and you aren’t one of the chosen few your career progression will plateau very early on. Nepotism is also rife.
It depends on the department and who you know in management.
Very hard
Fine if you’re having an affair with your manager, otherwise it’s a glass ceiling
