More negatives than positives
Negatives - Bad management with poor communication.- No opportunities for growth regardless of how long you have been there.- can be a stressful workload and there’s a lack support.- horrendous training/induction where there is no real structure to the department.Pros- working in safeguarding- making a difference to vulnerable peoples lives- great opportunity to get experience with a police department- good stepping stonePolice Officer in Oxford

Good job, very poor management.

Unhealthy Working Environment
TVP has laudable aims but wrings every last drop of commitment from its staff with little in return. The work is important and I'm proud to have served but they operate a blame culture and are quick to act against you for little reason.
