The most useful review selected by IndeedThames is and can be a great employer to work for if you get the right manager. Their organisation isn't great again I think it cones down to line management. No real career path if you want to move up you will be competing with alot of others internally and externally don't be surprised if they hire someone just for their management skills or undergraduates who have little to no experience and move on in 6 months.Benefits are great and are really supportive of mental health and diversity inclusion. I think thames could be so much better if management was restructured

Not the job or company it used to be
Network Technician (Former Employee) - Reading, Berkshire - 7 June 2018
Expect Micro Management culture by clueless graduate managers who know nothing about the industry and have zero interest in your well being either emotionally or physically.
Ridiculous over the top health and safety attitude that diminishes it's real purpose.
Training is thorough and of a high standard that will always help you in future rolls within the Water industry.
Pros
Water industry experience will always be required wherever you work in future
Cons
Standbye work at unsociable hours will get you down & damage your health.
