In addition to standard UK Right to Work and Identity verification, to work with vulnerable adults, workers are required to hold a valid Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) certificate. If you don’t already have a ‘transferable’ DBS, we will apply for one for you during the onboarding process. This usually takes about 48 hours to come through, and has to be renewed every 3 years. Having a criminal record may not prevent you from working for us, it depends on the nature of the conviction. This will be discussed during the recruitment process.
