21 answers

  • All over the place.

  • 24HRS 365 days of the year.

  • Working hours could range from a standard 8 hour day to 24 hours shift depending on what needs to be completed.

  • Working hours are normally 0800 to 1700hrs, but this includes 30 minute break in the morning and 1 hour brake for lunch.
When on operations hours of work vary from say to day.

  • A lot of the Army sit doing not much and the other half are working a STUPID amount of hours. Staff shortages mean you work doing others people's jobs who have left the service. With no extra pay or appreciation. Poor pensions 2015, poor pay and very poor progression.

  • Awful next to no time off

  • Well you're always working unless you're on leave. Get some down time from 16:00 unless something is on or needs doing. Friday is usually always an early finish.

  • Can vary from day to day.

  • 6am to 5pm Monday to Friday sometimes weekends

  • Office hours are 0800 - 1700 but if required staff are expected to work longer, usually personnel can leave earlier on a Friday if work has been completed.
