Toxic work culture - Avoid

I was there for about a year as an agency worker before being dumped without warning and only given the reason after I left. It may have been down to the agency, but there is a terribly toxic work culture there, with horrible managers and a work force that is constantly bickering amongst themselves and forming cliques. Try to avoid it as it is a bureaucratic nightmare that will slowly but surely break your spirit.

Busy and a nice environment

Job is pretty straightforward, reserving books, creating memberships but i would say the highlight was the work culture as my colleagues were all very warm.

Horrific

Horrific experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! HR and employee services are treated like dirt by all others INCLUDING management and are not treated with respect. They are blamed for all wrongdoings. Not a family friendly company.

Full of malicious gossip and petty minded bureaucratic management just waiting until they receive their pension

I found the daily malicious gossip and constant bullying and undermining of petty minded bureaucratic management extremely stressful and after 10 years of it it made me quite ill
