The Care Bureau is proud to be one of the oldest, largest and most respected Home Care companies in the UK.
Established in 1997, we work in partnership with Local Authorities and NHS to provide a comprehensive range of home-based Nursing, Care and Support services.
Our principle aim is to offer the most appropriate support to individuals and their families to enable people to remain in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home environment, maintaining their independence, dignity and choice of lifestyle.
Working out of multiple sites within the UK, we offer hundreds of employment opportunities that cover ad hoc through to full time work.
The Care Bureau prides itself on the calibre of our people, and the fact that so many of our staff have been with us for many years. With progression opportunities, most of our Registered Managers, and many of the senior team started as domiciliary care staff with us.
Whilst many of those staff have years of experience now, they didn't necessarily come to us like that. In fact we successfully recruit many people that haven't worked in the care sector at all. Really though, that is not much of a problem. We're not concerned about whether job applicants have previous experience, or lots of certificates.
We're much more interested in the features of their personality, whether they are caring, compassionate and patient. The rest of the skills, we teach them through a mix of classroom training, shadowing and online learning support, with plenty of guidance from friendly supervisory staff.

Great management and overall a good company to work for. Great management. Would recommend anybody to work there. All in all a great place to work.
The Care Bureau was my first work experience as HCA. Management was always helpful, hours well balanced. All training was face to face - no elearning. Enough shadow shifts to feel confident in your role, which is very important for someone who is a fresher.
Having worked for The Care Bureau for over 2 years, I can honestly say that I have never felt so supported and valued in a role. There is great communication, compassion and understanding from the whole team.
I can't express how much the job mentally drained me. The clients and the job itself is amazing the management are very rude and disrespectful and have no mannerism. You are constantly expected to be availed and work every single say no days off. You don't get sick pay even if you have covid you get no benefits and you are basically on your own. I do NOT recommend.
Start off with plenty of hours. Dwindled quickly. Inconsistent. Short gaps for travelling when busy and then 1-2 hour gaps where you’re hanging around. 7 hour day and only get paid for 2-3
