Yes, it's hard work, but still kind of fun and some times challenging, depending on how many rooms you have to make and clean, before the new guests arrive.
i have been an employee for 6x months now and until recently has been an interesting and intuitive learning curve. I have had the opportunity to help by running a small cafe on site of the hotel itself where i have been required to make certain sound suggestions/decisions in regards to the future of the cafe as well as building up clientele and revenue alongside ideas for business, menus and training. In this time i have acquired the skills in order to be a barista. This job title also requires a certain level of hospitality management, waitressing and customer service skills.
