Great place to work
Sales Executive (Current Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 16 October 2022
I have worked at The Jubilee Mint for several years and seen it grow and become the success it is today. I work in the sales team and have earned good money for doing a job I enjoy. At times it can get very busy for big product launches but as long as you are prepared to work hard it's one the best employers in the area.

- Fair pay for job
- Ability to meet personal goals
Areas for improvement
- Energising work tasks
- Time and location flexibility
- General feeling of work happiness
Toxic working environment with poor management. No value placed on wellbeing of employees. They pay incredibly if you perform well.
Outbound Marketing Advisor (Former Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 27 February 2022
Little to no work-life balance due to long working hours. Management are never satisfied with performance, even following record-breaking weeks. Outdated sales methods and technology. Micromanagement, zero trust in employees. Employees are treated like children, not adults. No sick-pay. Extremely poor management of Covid-19.
Pros
Great earning opportunities.
Cons
All of the above.

Official response from The Jubilee Mint
21 June 2022Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your employment with The Jubilee Mint. We are sorry to hear you feel this way. As a business, we are concerned about a couple of the issues you have raised so would like to take this opportunity to address them: Despite economic headwinds, we are still growing. To do this we have been investing a lot into a variety of areas, for example, employee benefits, our new Training Academy and internal systems. We are keen to ensure that all of our processes are as up to date and efficient as possible, and that our methods of working move in line with us. Additionally, we do have an excellent, uncapped commission structure which allows for our account managers, on average, to earn around £55,000 (one of the best telesales earning potentials in the area), alongside tax free voucher incentives. All of these ensure that our employees are rewarded for their hard work as we do work a 40 hour week. These hours are structured in such way that we have a 3.30pm finish to allow for a longer weekend. We also invest a lot into the people who come into the workplace, so even though we don’t currently offer sick pay, we do follow legal requirements and pay Statutory Sick Pay. Covid has been a testing time for many companies across the world, however we are proud that we followed all Government precautions put in place and made allowances to ensure our employees generally felt safe coming into the office. We are pleased that we were able to continue our growth through this very trying time. Thank you again for your feedback, we wish -
Great people, great money.
Account Manager (Current Employee) - Bournemouth, Dorset - 3 February 2022
I really like working at The Jubilee Mint. I have learnt so much during my time here which has helped me to be a successful Account Manager. The training is 5* and there is always more training and development available if needed. We all work hard but get excellent commission for it. I've not known of a company in the Bournemouth area that delivers what they say and actually pays out commission properly and gives people the opportunity to earn huge amounts.
Pros
Excellent commission Vouchers Great people and managers are supportive
Cons
Long hours and limited flexibility

Stressful and competitive
Customer Service (Former Employee) - Bournemouth - 21 January 2022
Long hours, people are lovely but a very stressful environment, a lot of pressure on making sales, job security was a big issue for me, and a lot of hours

Tough but rewarding
Account Manager (Current Employee) - Bournemouth - 26 October 2021
The job isn't easy. You have to call lots of people and lots of them haven't bought for ages. If you get through the first few months though, you will earn very good money.
Pros
Pay, leaving early on Friday
Cons
First few months really hard

Pressure selling, misleading, stressful, cold calling
Customer Assistant (Former Employee) - Bournemouth - 18 October 2021
Worked for the company for 9 months pay was very good but they are not focused on the customer needs or wants at all, just about getting as much money out of them as possible they tell you that you are calling warm leads but your not some people have only brought off them as a one off gift but you are forced to pitch to them anyway even though they have no interest, if the customer requests to stop calling you are still not allowed to add them to the do not call list the only time they will take people off is if they are dead or have memory related illnesses there are better jobs out there the pay may not be as good, they say it's the best paid job in Bournemouth but it isn't unless you become an account manager even then the current account managers already have the best customers. There are much more rewarding jobs out there don't put yourself through the stress
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Use an auto dialler

Good place to work
Account Manager (Current Employee) - Bournemouth - 26 October 2020
Received very good training, both product and sales training. My manager makes sure to keep on top of training and always gives support if I need it. The people are really nice and friendly and made me feel very welcome from day one. Commission is really good and I like that it is not capped at a certain limit.
Pros
Commission not capped. Good location and people.
Cons
I can't think of any

Productive and great workplace
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Oxford Road, Bournemouth - 11 June 2020
With Jubilee Mint I learned a lot about sales and how to keep positive in an environment where there is a lot of negative feedback from the customer base.
