Do. Not. Bother.
Terrible management. Rude, patronising staff. Bizarre exams they make you revise for in your own time? Chefs are treated poorly, KPs even worse. They expect EVERYTHING from you and give NOTHING back. Really really poor, don't waste your time.

Money hungry, bad management
Everyone working there is extremely rude and appears to have a God complex, they're only decent to you when they need something. Never received proper treatment and was treated horribly. Breaks are non existent, you're expected to work the entire time with no breaks while colleagues go on regular breaks. You get overworked, too much is expected of you, they put you in positions you're not qualified for and then scream at you for not carrying out the job "properly". They tell you to ask for instructions for every single task but everyone seems to be too busy to help. Then you get yelled at for not doing it, or doing it improperly. They expect you to learn an entire spec book even when it has nothing to do with your particular position, clear disregard towards people with learning disabilities.

Definitely don't work here
Bad management Management don't care as long as food is coming out of the kitchen, they don't listen, Long hours I was left to work 3sections on a busy Sunday shift
Head Chef in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Stay away
On paper, it is a great place to work. The reality soon hits home. They want more and more and more out of you. There is no work/home life balance. They would be happy for you to work all day every day! I did 70+ hrs some weeks with no thanks, they just wanted more! I was the head chef. The mangers were woeful! There was only 1 manager that was any good. We had some good times, but the bad ones massively out numbered them. The GM wanted it his way or no way.
