It depends what role you're being interviewed for. On the whole, we'd suggest you dress smartly, but also in clothes you feel comfortable in.

Again, it depends on what role you’re going for. If it’s a job in one of our homes, you will either have one or two face to face interviews. These could be with the Bursar or Head of Care/Lead Nurse, and then the Home Manager. If you’re interviewing for an office based role, you will usually have a first interview with the hiring manager and if you’re short listed, a further interview the head of that department. If you’re being interviewed for a Home Manager role , or above, there will be two interviews and usually a psychometric assessment.

Typically a first interview will be around your skills and experience and how they fit with the role you’ve applied for. The second interview is another opportunity for us to get to know you better; where we explore how well your values align with the Trust’s core values and our culture, as well as giving you plenty of time to ask us questions too! Our interviews are a two-way process; of course we have to make sure we find the right person, but it’s also an important opportunity for you to get a sense of what the role would be like and also whether you feel OSJCT is a good fit for you.

The manager is no help at all and alot of bullying goes off and nothing is done about it .
