HCA nearing the bottom of the barrel
I get moved from one ward to the next often and often feel like I'm on my own trying to make it through a shift. I've had experiences of working along side some of the nurses that belittle and give no support. I've worked in care for years but simple tasks I'm made to feel I can not do them. I'm left feeling mentally drained and depressed.

Good place to work, you do have to earn your salary though
Good place to work with a wide variety of jobs at various bands. Senior management have definately been making changes for the better in the last couple of years. I enjoy my role although as it's a very specialist one I don't have much chance for career progression unless I move sideways which I don't really want to do. The job itself is enjoyable but when you factor in the very low pay for the very hard work it can be disheartening. Management aren’t always very sympathetic to your general life needs such as family commitments and illness, especially mental illness.
