Easy work, very unreliable shifts and management
Shifts cancelled at last minute, laid off for weeks at a time, no credit for being reliable on time doing over time, very unorganised. Good pay however and easy work

Competitive and unpredictable
The salary was more than minimum wage and went up when I was moved around. There was opportunity in other departments if there wasn’t enough work. You could be called in to work and be sent home after only an hour because not enough work. They advertised as flexible but when I asked to change shifts due to an important commitment I was told no and that I would be marked down as AWOL if I didn’t turn up. I never said I wasn't going too as It was only a query at the time but they cancelled my shifts for the week as punishment for even asking. Management are very passive aggressive and if you don’t answer your phone quick enough you lose your shift.

Pressure & stress
If you enjoy pressure and stress then this is the place of work for you! Targets, targets, targets - don’t worry about quality....that is until item gets returned and your qc number is on there and your in for a shock! Don’t worry if your not happy, the team leaders and managers will make your day worse. A lot of the managers/hr staff could do with a few courses on how to treat your employees and a course on mental health wouldn’t go to miss! They cause the stress but won’t help afterwith Friendly place to work, more like friends for a day then ignore the next!

Current roles there should come with a health warning. Health and well being of staff are bottom of any priorities for the current directors. Yes ministerial targets may be being met but this is at the cost of the mental health of the staff. The government should take a close look at the current regime heading the RM and ask why vastly experienced staff of 10,20 and 30years are choosing to leave this company. Very very sad
