Flexible but not always work available
Merchandiser (Current Employee) - UK - 15 May 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedCan be good, work with different people all the time, flexible and you can turn work down if you want, however work is not on regular basis, and they just say its slow at moment if you complain. Zero hours contract so no come back. Wages reasonable, long hours and you have to share room if working away from home.

Do not join this company
Merchandiser (Current Employee) - Cardiff - 4 April 2023
This company treats its employees like fodder and will send you places sometimes alone to the middle of nowhere in dark back streets out in the country. The pay is unfair for a night shift and the amount of hours you actually work when your tax and everything is deducted they pick and chose who they want to give work to.
Pros
Leaving the job
Cons
Staying in the job

No life outside of work
Merchandiser (Current Employee) - UK - 20 February 2023
Office staff don't care about the staff that are out working away from family week in week out. They don't see you as a person but just a number. They've got no duty of care towards staff they dont tell you when work goes quite because they dont care. Your always in the wrong, office staff are always right and They will dock you money from your wages all the time. Things like if family emergency so you need to go home they'll dock you for the hotel they booked you and train fair if you've had to get public transport. No proper holiday pay comes out of wage No sick pay No life outside of work Must work every hour of every day. Stay away
Pros
Nothing
Cons
No life outside of work

Team leader position
Team Leader (Current Employee) - England - 4 February 2023
As a very experienced team leader yes there is work available all year round but they will always change work locations or cancel work last minute it’s very frustrating because you can not have a work life balance, you will never see any office management or account management come onto site to see you to check on any staff performance in this company you are not valued you are just a number and will easily be replaced if you raise concerns or any issues to them. 5/6 years ago you could always relay on the office stuff but now it’s like they don’t care anymore and there is a massive divide between office staff and all team leaders on site.
Pros
Weekly pay
Cons
Disrespect from the office no work life balance

Decent
Not a bad place to work. Will get you a decent wage only if you're willing to do longer working hours. From november to april you might not have any jobs available at all.
Pros
Decent money, if they have any jobs at all
Cons
Long hours, very early to rise, late to leave

Avoid at all costs
Ground Worker (Former Employee) - Wickham, Hampshire - 29 September 2022
I worked one day for this company, they told me a certain rate, and that day changed my rate of pay via text message… as for trying to get the days pay out of them well that’s a different story, I haven’t even had it yet… they’re trying to withhold it for as long as possible…

Not Competent, disrespectful
IPAF Operator (Former Employee) - Knowsley, Merseyside - 20 August 2022
Shore group employees are incompetent and rude to clients, trying to blackmail me saying I’m not gonna be paid and treat me like they own me😂 I was only laughing trying to make some conversation but I’m not even sure if she understand English enough. Another thing, she was lying to me to keep me on the possible lowest rate… Absolutely joke, strictly not recommend!!!
Pros
Incompetence
Cons
rudeness

Team Leader (Current Employee) - Everywhere - 8 August 2022
Nice job nice people but could be paid more for working away from home most hotels booked don’t have breakfast and can only claim £5 these days everything has went up.. don’t get paid travel time and expected to drive sometimes 6 hours plus and then do 12 hour shift,, in short it pays the bills and that’s it

In all honesty, rubbish.
Retail Merchandiser (Current Employee) - London - 21 April 2022
The the front office itself is a joke, they are rude and send you further away because it’s cheapest for them, they put you in the cheapest hotels and they make you share rooms with people you don’t even know because once again it’s cheaper for them. If you do have to get cabs from the station to the store you’re at there is little to almost zero communication with you on that part, they create inconvenient situations and threaten to charge you for expenses if you want to leave the shift and oh Yh if you decide to not take the next shift they give you, bare in mind you could’ve come from a 12day or 6day shift, then they will not give you work for sooooo long, it could take you 1-2 months just to get 1 shift, ridiculous. Do not join unless you want quick and stressful money

Don't bother
Merchandiser (Current Employee) - Hartlepool - 3 March 2022
Management talks to you like #@#@ expect you to work constantly such as you will just about to finish a 14 day job and they will message and say we have got you a train ticket to go straight to wherever with no break and they don't ask they try to tell you and if you say you want a weekend off to see your family etc they don't like it and won't give you any further work for 2....3 weeks if your lucky. You are better working 5 days not 7 it works out about 40...50 quid better wages if you work 7 so not worth it. But believe me this company wants blood lol

Don't bother
Merchandiser (Former Employee) - Anywhere in the uk - 21 February 2022
Do you enjoy walking an hour to and from a pick up location? Spending another hour in a cramped car to job, working 10 hrs (and only being paid for that work) wasting 3-4 hours unpaid each day.
Pros
None
Cons
3 hrs unpaid followed by work then unpaid travel and pickup, Bullied management, 0 hr contract with no guaranteed work week in week out.
