Firstly on the interview date when asking if there was any days I could not work I told them Christmas as I cook for the family. I got put on the rota for Chritmas anyway and then blackmailed to come to work or lose my job. I asked for ÂŁ9 minimum as that was my previous salary, and then upon my first pay date found it was payed at minimum ÂŁ7.70 along with being underpaid. Still haven't received the lost pay. The first week the head chef didn't show up on two occasions leaving me, a new start and a 17 year old to run the kitchen. Management doesn't know what's happening and doesn't let the chef's do their jobs, hours are not what was promised. If at this point after the amount of chefs they've gone through they don't see a problem with management then the business will not improve. Just a disappointing job, only upside was a few of the staff there were lovely.
