Been Working For Thorium for Just Over 2 Years now , Started at Westhoughton Store . Move to Bury store near where I live for 1 year Then Over to Crompton Way Bolton . Where I still am .Manager visit's are always good . Never any Problem's with Pay . Job reviews are good . Been at Crompton for over a Year now and have made some good Friends over there . Customer's and Staff . Also a Few Enemies ! Shoplifters . Unfortunately 02/08/2023 my SIA Badge Expires so at 67 yrs old I think It's Time to retire ?

Thorium security is a great company to work for Pay Is good they pay on time and company provide good hours giving you a good work life ballance. Key elements good communication by the Management and are all nice and polite.

once you join the company,there is no communication, tried ti get hold of them on first day, 30 phone calls still no answer, promise everything, no hours,no communication,would not recommend this company to anybody

If you want the hours there was plenty available. If you work hard it pays off. Not like most other security companies, here you are treated as an individual not a number. They cater for issues of told in advance and flexible. You look after them they look after you simple.

Felt betrayed and treated unfairly

Work for the company for 3 yrs how ever I didn't have much of a social life working 6 days a week I felt like I was being treated unfairly to some what others do yet I dedicated myself to the hours given I did get promoted but to only shortly afterwards be informed of being made redundant or travel to another site witch was way to far to travel to on public transport not only feeling like I was being taken for ride I felt used

I have been working as a retail guard for the company since 2018 in a supermarket setting. I was transferred over from my old company who had lost the contract. Thorium came and introduced themselves and gave upskilling training. They moved me onto their benefits scheme and gave me access to GP's, gyms, and discounts for shopping. It's a pretty flexible company and they work with me if I need to change my rosters.

I was working there for a month

I was working there for a month the first 2 weeks was great I was getting loads of work after that wasn't so good but where I was working in the vue cinema printworks the management for the vue cinema have no respect for u not expect to much from one worker the shifts are a problem with this company on serval occasations my shifts got changed at last minute because they is to many workers there and not enough work I think the only positive thing a can say about this company is you will always get paid their was a time where I was booked in to work on a certain day so I come there to do my job and not aware the manger changed my shift and not informed me about the change so I come in to work and she changed my shift for later and didn't inform me and another time I was booked in to work on the app so I turned up to work there was 3 workers there that was pretty strange because it wasn't even busy I was a couple of hours in my shift and the manager got a worker from a another venue took check how many workers were working and she told him to tell me u was not supposed to be working today she didn't inform me of the change and i was booked in on the app she did pay me tho but yeah if u r living by yourself I wouldn't recommend this job you are not guaranteed regular work

Was transferred from my old company and was ok at first then they started to change strict on rules that they clearly break then was contracted to 30 hours on my old contract some weeks I got 8 hours and was suspended for nothing ( was unpaid as well ) got my job back but was taken for my Main site that I had been at for over a year and had great working relationships with store managers and area managers and they gave my job to someone else whilst suspended and put me at a site that you can only get to by car knowing I don’t drive or have transportation never again will I work for a group of cowboys 1 of the directors is ok but main one you deal with is completely no idea about how to run a company well get rid of very experienced officers to replace with new ones great ethic not As for area supervisor no clue gets angry and then reports you for been angry really stay away
