Good work place but poor pay rates

The most useful review selected by IndeedHad good reliable work but pay rate was better at other agencies, also umbrella payments which further reduce pay other than that a decent agency easy to communicate with no trouble with pay.

Wouldnt bother. Dont like paying a few hours work. Then get told its only 3 hours whats the issue . Shocking agency to work for. Waste of time and not interested in the people who work for them.

Big Waste of time

Was called regarding a role previously, was told i could start the next day and was still chasing weeks later, they couldnt care less about helping get people into work, they just want more people on thier books to benefit them.

Shocking Experience . Very unreliable and work place awful. Very rude and treat people unfairly. AVOID this company at all costs!!!!!!Lie about hrs wages etc . Very poor management stay away

Lovely work environment and wonderful people around you. You will always feel welcomed without any discrimination. Staff talk to you with respect and you always feel happy to go to work everyday. Never a dull moment as you will always learn something new and different from your past experience

Out going and overall wacky but serious environment

Only best bit about it is working 8 till 5 Monday to Friday the worst bits about it is standing in a line for hours getting aches and pains with you standing in a line for hours not moving about and having to work in a dead fast pace and you work there like your a machine they don't care that your a human being they see you as a machine or a robot

Straight up idiots

Hilarious incompetence to the extreme, in the Notts office. Beggar's belief that they have a job in the first place, never mind that they're trying to put other people into jobs.

Great for training and progression

Thorn baker is a great company. When I went for my interview I filled some paper work and had a quick , relaxed interview and they found me a job close to me straight away. Since starting the job Thorn Baker have helped me with any problems or questions I’ve had.

Went all the way to toton lane for them to say I wasn’t needed there that they had too much staff , then they got me a second job which fired and didn’t even tell the reason in 5 days .They are a joke

Mostly bad unfortunately

The actual workplace environment is decent, you just get in with what you’re set to do. But on the technical side of things I did have many issues with this company, they let me go and refused to give me a definitive reason why. I’ve heard many things about them, bad reputation really. Lack of care.

Nightmare since I left They messed up my tax code and also have me down as still being paid from them when I’m not meaning I’m getting taxed more now from my job as it looks like I have 2 jobs It’s been 8weeks since I’ve had anything to do with them they need to sort out there stuff Hard to get in contact with and I never actually met any one from there it was all text looking back now this is very shady would not recommend working here in the slightest
