Great place to work
The organisation has managed to create an incredible reputation for the work it does and the quality of amazing people who are part of the Thrive Homes family. The people are very nice, open and dedicated, and being just five years old it has achieved great things.

What you put in you get out
It's a hands on job, with opportunities to learn at every turn. No two days are the same. You are the driver, the captain of your own destiny pretty much. In the stormy seas of life, you will learn to be an experienced sailor it's that or fail. This job teaches you at every level, and ranging from those that are independent to those that have complex needs there is the spectrum that you will be subject too. I have learnt more about people in the 6 months I've been there than all the years I've been in the care industry. The hardest part is remaining impartial, having your professional boundaries being objective and exercising that on a daily level. However without it you will not be cut out for the job. The rewards are instant in some cases, short term and long term. As this job is about human lives and being part of those lives, in whatever capacity you can. So you can be a mentor, a role model, a sounding board, a listening ear the scope is endless. Your co-workers are of a similar frame of mind to you, each bringing their own unique skills to the team. There to support, encourage, and shoulder and last but not least to have a laugh with.
