Reactive not proactive
Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) - Winsford - 26 January 2023
No positives about working here. You learn how not to be treated in a working environment . It’s reactive to jobs such as there’s no parts for a job so they react to it and it suddenly becomes your problem as apposed to being proactive and having everything ready.
Pros
An apple
Cons
How much time do we have?

Trainee Welder (Former Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 28 November 2022
I was taken on as a trainee I was given two days training and told I wasn’t good enough. I left a perfectly good job to Try and better myself and learn a new skill and has not given the opportunity to, there was no training they just wanted you to work from day one.

Poor Management - Bullies
Auto Electrician (Former Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 4 September 2022
Management is terrible. No understanding of people or how to treat them, high staff turnover and they can’t seem to figure out why? Treat people poorly and offer little to no support. Health and Safety is of little concern and quality of work is shambolic, absolute cowboys just throwing trailers together. Management have there favourites and don’t even hide it. Not a nice place to work at all. left here of my own volition because it was so poor.

Terrible...
Coach builder (Former Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 12 March 2022
Terrible ... STAY AWAY ,always accidents and health and safety was awful. Management don't care about anyone. They say they will look into an issue, then push it to the back of the que straight away. Absolutely awful company to work for. I'm surprised they are still in business. Worst corrupt company on the planet.

Waste of time
Forklift Driver (Former Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 11 March 2022
I worked there as a forklift driver and it’s the worse place I’ve worked for always worrying weather your loose your job day to day. The management is absolutely shocking and if they don’t like the slightest thing or your face doesn’t fit your out the door I mentioned about a health and safety issue and got told to leave site pretty much straight after and when I asked why I was told for complaining. One of the worst excuses I’ve ever been told and they really don’t care weather your the best worker or not if the management don’t like you your gone. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR EFFORT

Assembly Operative (Former Employee) - Winsford - 25 February 2022
Do NOT go there under any circumstances. You will regret it. Bad pay and the place has no idea about health and safety. Just look at the turn over staff

Do not leave a job to move to Tiger
If you have nothing else then fair enough, give them a try to keep you going but whatever you do, do not leave a job to move their. There's a 50 50 chance you won't have been dropped by them after 6 months. I was a manager there. Don't risk it

Great company to work for with far better people
Supply chain development (Current Employee) - Office - 15 September 2021
I've been working for Tiger for 12 months now, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've made moving here, having worked within the industry before I can honestly say Tiger is a fantastic family run company to work for and a market leader in the industry. There is plenty of room for progression here as it is a relatively small workforce, overtime available and encouraged. Management are passionate, and always willing to get involved and get the jobs built, training available for any job requested, and the staff are some of the most friendly people I've met, as long as you have a good work ethic you will fit right in!
Pros
Subsidized canteen, friendly staff, overtime, training, progression
Cons
N/a

HR Assistant (Current Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 8 September 2021
Great place to work if you are hard working, honest and punctual. I have worked here for 3 months now and the experience has been fantastic. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and if you work hard there are chances to progress within the business.
Pros
The people, onsite parking, cheap canteen, modern offices
Cons
none

Don’t waste your time
Coach Builder (Former Employee) - Winsford - 4 February 2020
I wouldn’t work here as you will end up worrying if your job is safe one year in as they expect you to be a high quality coach builder from learning on your own terms as your thrown in the deep end and your expected to figure it out on your own
Pros
None
Cons
Management have been known to have a sacking competition

Paint a pretty picture before you start
Welder (Former Employee) - Winsford, Cheshire - 3 February 2020
bullying mentality from management. Clicky work force. Team leaders/ Night shift manager not a clue. all good reviews done by tiger managers on here they are false and do not represent the real company. Try to enforce overtime with no premium. Would sing on a street corner than work for them. No proper PPE all tools supplied not up to jobs. Trailers are thrown together and many come back no pride or care in jobs there
