Insights into Tinies
What people like
- Inclusive work environment
- Time and location flexibility
- Trust in colleagues
Overall positive
Nursery Worker (Current Employee) - London England - 22 March 2023
There’s flexibility in the way I work and can work around studies and family commitments. There’s been timely feedback when making changes or requests regarding work and the person responsible for bookings is generally accommodating once given enough notice. There’s also a degree of understanding and empathy for workers. I am pleased to be working with them. You get paid for the days you work, the downside is unlike monthly paid jobs if you’re off sick that would have a financial impact. The other downside is you have to claim your holiday pay within January to December otherwise you’ll lose it rather than it rolling over ( if you’re preoccupied with family issues and forget then you’ve lost earnings that you’ve worked hard for). It would be nice to have some type of uniform so your agency is identified at the setting. Overall I am happy at Tinies and have recommended them to friends and family.
Pros
Flexible, choose your times by- weekly payment
Cons
Loss of pay if sudden illness, lots of paperwork initially

Supportive but not secure enough as on zero hour contract . Good training opportunities though and good team. Free parking and cheap lunch available.

Plenty to do
Nursery Nurse (Former Employee) - Harrogate, North Yorkshire - 20 December 2022
A good company to work for as no two days are the same due to needing to provide cover for different settings. Work is busy and you can request which days you want to work.
Cons
Not really in a routine due to moving around

Productive, relaxed and fun place to work.
Productive and fun workplace, for those who wants to be flexible with their time , but consider commuting to the work place. Also ,if you are a beginner ,and want to work full time or have enough working hours straight away know that first 1-3 month you won't have enough hours ,as this work is all about gaining your own clients ,once you worked for the client, and they liked you ,they will book you always and you will get as many hours you want. Very happy with team, very helpful always .Worked for this company for more than 10 years.

Easy but low pay
Nursery assistant (Former Employee) - Brighton - 8 January 2020
It was fine. It was quite a boring job, the kids were sweet but management could be a bit rude at times. Though the work was easy and stress-free I got paid next to nothing and spent so much of my wage on just train fair.
