About TOG (The Office Group)

About Us

The Office Group is home to one of the most creative, exciting and forward-thinking working communities in the UK. We founded TOG in 2003 having previously worked in traditional real estate and the serviced office world. We have always focused on design, making sure each workspace is different and individual. It’s hugely important to us that we respond to the architecture, location and context of each building; we figured if we did that, then each location would belong to the people who use them rather than us, and generate a real sense of ownership and community. So, we want to create beautifully designed buildings and progressive memberships, making the spaces (and contracts) flexible to allow businesses to thrive. Today, we have close to 50 buildings (some are being built right now) and over 18,000 members. We are ambitious for continued growth but with only the best buildings being run by the best people. Our Values

We dare to be different - We value differences – in our buildings, in our TOG team and across our member community. We have strong personalities and like to push boundaries. We are comfortable challenging the status-quo if it means doing the right thing for our members, our colleagues, our community and for the world in which we work. We do what we say - We take ownership of our work and strive to help each other progress. We are always positive, enthusiastic and ready for a challenge. We get things done, really well, on time and with confidence. We love what we do - You can tell that we are passionate about what we do. We care about our members and the people we work with. We are proud of our work and always go above and beyond. We are knowledgeable about our business and our wider community. We always say hello - We are outgoing and love to engage and interact with everyone who walks through our doors. We ask about our members’ businesses and always look for opportunities to connect them with others. We are welcoming and never forget to say hello and 'see you soon'.

Sustainability

Sustainability is important for the environment, for our members and for us, and we do what we can to minimise the impact of our buildings. It’s about more than just recycling bins (although we do have them…); sustainability is a key part of the design process for our buildings, from restoring original features to lighting and the loos. We buy electricity from the wind, sun and sea for some of our buildings - and will do in all of them by the end of 2020. We’re not perfect but we’re on a journey. Renewable energy, rain water harvesting, nutritious plant-based food, natural light, green spaces and more. Join us as we embed innovations and creative ideas within our designs, buy better and help everyone to do their bit for a clean, green future.

Member events

We love it when our members work together. We host a calendar of exciting events across our building open to all members, whether it’s to network, try something new, learn something new, get advice, give advice, or (most importantly) to party. Virtual member events Over the coming months, we’ll be running Business as (un)usual, a series of virtual events, workshops and guides to help you keep positive and productive. Join us to find your new balance, adapt your business, work from home productively with design tips and posture clinics, cook to boost your immunity and meditate to a positive mindset.
