High Staff Turnover
accounts (Current Employee) - Brentwood, Essex - 2 August 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOffers some good benefits, but constant high staff turnover in the office means constantly having to start projects from scratch, accounts being locked, no communication for the higher ups

Miserable place to work.
Receptionist (Former Employee) - Tottenham, Greater London - 9 July 2023
WORST COMPANY EVER!! DO NOT WORK HERE! Such a toxic environment. No sense of teamwork and no one ever wants to help. You’re left to deal with everything on your own, from nasty patients to an overload of work with no support from management or other members of staff. You are left feeling miserable every single day. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!

Would not recommend
Dental Nurse (Former Employee) - Basildon, Essex - 20 May 2023
Management have no clue what they're doing, just full of empty promises. Seem to be happy to pay locum nurses more than there own nurses. Would not recommend working for this company

Low morale, poor management
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Brentwood - 4 May 2023
In a nutshell, the staff morale is incredibly low and no one seems to want to work there. Felt very judged from the second I walked in on my first day, even because of the town I live in! Would not recommend applying!

A stepping stone
reception/administrator (Former Employee) - Norwich - 27 April 2023
Not a lot of support from management, some management have no experience with in dentistry and rely on experience of the staff within the practices, a lot of staff with experience who could be management or be offer higher opportunities get look over, but used, they empathise u get paid for what u do but u could be doing duties what a manager does but not manager wage, or duties qualified nurse, people make up there own rules, if ya make a mistake hope ur mental state is strong, and if u got kids and if ur not the favourite at the practice theres no special treatment, if u haven’t been there 20+ years u have no experience even though u do, u will feel like ur going back wards in olden times, u can have experience but skills need moving with the times, I was made to feel I couldn’t even write an email, I have IT qualifications and before relocating working for together dental I was training to be a manager in this industry and work with in the software used by together dental, but that meant nothing, dentist are great but have no respect from the company, they are pushed to the edge
Pros
Some practice offer Monday to Friday
Cons
Multiple stress long hours no support

Stressful, pressured work environment
Dental Nurse (Former Employee) - Great Yarmouth, Norfolk - 2 April 2023
Expected to do the work of 3/4 people, no support from management. Expected to work late or through lunch with no cover and no extra pay. No good support for training nurses who are expected to work alone with dentists and get reprimanded for mistakes.

Not a good place
Dental Receptionist/Nurse (Former Employee) - Basildon - 2 March 2023
This company doesn’t care that you work for them, it just goes round like a conveyor belt and don’t help you in any way. Management aren’t any help unless you get a good practice manager who actually would like to help but can’t because of their management higher up. There is a lot of micro-management. No appreciation for staying late or starting early or even working through your lunch. Try and give you less holiday than you’re entitled to and try to take accrued lieu hours away without you knowing, or creating new rules for using your lieu time up without anything formal being announced. Your work is that of 3 people crammed into one, and majorly underpaid.

Nice practice to work in
Dental Nurse (Former Employee) - Great Yarmouth - 6 February 2023
Nice staff and management-nice to work with. Pay could be a bit higher for the work that is expected but a good opportunity to learn and progress within the field.
Pros
GDC and Indemnity paid for
Cons

A company that values their staff
HR Administrator (Current Employee) - Brentwood - 29 December 2022
I left the motor trade after 7 years of feeling like a number and since joining together dental 18 months ago, I feel valued, listened to and I enjoy coming to work. I feel I have a good work / life balance and I’m paid a good salary for my role which is higher than I have seen others advertised for in my area.
Pros
Good salary, good work life balance, caring management, good progression opportunities

Awful company
Practice Manager (Former Employee) - Great Yarmouth, Norfolk - 5 December 2022
Big company with minimal staff. Rude management who think they are above everyone else. The dentists bully and nothing gets done about it. Training is poor as the company do not have anyone to train staff, even nurses are thrown in at the deep end without training. You have to beg for expenses to be paid and can take weeks/months. They do not have proper access to patient records making it difficult to handle complaints properly and not keeping in line with GDPR. Changes need to be made for the better but no one allows you to do so as set in their ways. Far too much bickering and back stabbing.
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, poor training, poor management

Worst company to work in.
Receptionist (Current Employee) - Essex - 22 July 2022
This is the worst company to work in. If you are a dentist, hygienist or anything relating to this field look elsewhere. The worst company to work for. You will never be looked after. You will be expected to do everything on your own. People abuse you (patients) and nothing is done. I've been spat at and even hit by patients and nothing was done about it. I was expected to work still. Dont work here if you value your safety or even your mental health. every 3 months people leave

Felt like family
Receptionist (Current Employee) - Clapham, Greater London - 16 February 2022
I learned a lot in dentistry, even if I had never worked in this department. The most enjoyable part of the job is the contact with the patients, even if sometimes can be the hardest. I have always received support from the management, who helped me to grown up a lot.

Very busy practice good staff
Dental Nurse (Current Employee) - Norwich, Norfolk - 19 January 2022
Great team to work with and good management, pay often wrong and takes weeks sometimes months to sort out, people higher up constantly coming in wanting to make changes. No sense of importance, you’re easily replaceable in their eyes. All they care about is how much money they’re bringing into the business!
Pros
Free dental treatment
Cons
Not enough pay for stress and hard work you do

Vile company
Receptionist (Former Employee) - Northamptonshire - 10 June 2021
No proper training, no uniform and most employees are bullies. Management, area managers and compliance officers all think they’re so much better than you. If you’re off sick then it’s the straight sack without them even asking what was wrong and if you’re okay! Salary is rubbish for the amount of stress they put you in.

Cons
Shocking management
