Management were awful
The pay and the lads and ladies who worked at tradeteam were decent but the management were awful, used to tell us that while we were slaving away that we were earning them mega bonus's and rubbed our noses in it. Also management made issues personal if you dared to question them. One lad was threatened by a manager for being too long on the toilet, the manager actually told him that 8 minutes was too long. Just awful management

Great team, poor management and pay
Job and people great apart from management who are constantly looking to catch you out and punish you. Too many staff in the office acting acting like managers when they have no authority just cause they’ve been there years. You get allocated a set number of minutes each day which they pay you for, if you’re late back cause the times were not achievable you don’t get paid the overtime. They also contract you to work 6 Saturdays a year which are included in your salary, therefore unpaid and to be worked in addition to your regular Monday-Friday week. Holiday booking is a nightmare and not flexible, people camp out in the car park the night before holiday book opens for the year in order to secure their days off. Work is physically demanding but enjoyable and you have a mate with you to help. There are A LOT of tight places to get into with a rigid/urban artic so bear that in mind as if you hit anything there’s a Spanish Inquisition of an investigation to face when you get back to the yard. They’re big on health and safety and spend two weeks training you to do the job safely, before setting you out on the road and forcing you to take risks by not allowing enough time to complete tasks in the safe manner, then blame you when an accident happens.

Poor workplace
DO NOT WORK FOR TRADETEAM ***I worked for Tradeteam for 4 years and spent the last 4 months working out of the Knowsley depot… underpaid (no paid overtime), overworked (60+ hour weeks, 45 hours paid), not enough time given to do your work correctly and safely (6 minutes to do drops), no respect from management staff they want you out the depot and out of their sight. If you like getting up at 4am and not being home until 8pm, whilst only being paid 9 hours, then this is the job for you. Easily the worst job I’ve ever had and would not recommend anybody going there!!!

Awful management and dangerous
The management will push all staff to breaking point and expect you to just deal with it. There is severe lack of communication and definitely undervalue the workforce and do not respect people's opinions or suggestion. Avoid for your own safety.

Wouldn't go back there
Not everyone has been treated equally, Workload not spread evenly for all shifts, afternoon shift basically carrying the warehouse on its back. Some operatives doing practically the bare minimum, while others literally not having time to wipe their noses, in the end, everyone being paid the same wage. Management was terrible, they just do not care about the staff, the only thing they care is the job being done. The only positive was the descent wage I was getting paid, and that is about it
