Can be OK but it can be terrible

Mid and low level colleagues can be great to work with and are invested in the goal to make things better. A lot of 'mates' from other TOCs can lead to personality and ego winning over processes. Disconnect between rail and group sides of the business mean differing progression opportunities and salary increases, often with group falling behind.Can be tough with a large workload and poor upper management

Good Job Security But Big Workload & Cliquey

The work/job is secure but they expect way too much from the lower paid staff, they use 'flexibility' and 'teamwork' as an excuse to pile the work on you and work which is above your paygrade.Progression is very hard to non existent unless you are from another rail company in Wales and the managers / directors have previously worked with them there (very cliquey). A lot of empty promises are put to you!
