Truck Driver - Class 1 in Crawley
on 16 October 2020
High Expectations
Management are knowledgeable, mainly supportive and know the job inside out, however the expectations are too high. Consistently send their drivers along roads that are not designed for LGVs and then blame drivers when an accident inevitably happens, making them pay the £1000 excess. Or when the ONLY option is to park illegally to make a delivery and they get a ticket, they will have to pay for that too. If you refuse to make a delivery because the roads are unsuitable or it will result in a parking ticket you will be made to feel guilty or ineffective at your job. That said, if you are able to accept the above, this is a good supportive company with a bright and prosperous future. You could honestly do much worse.Good group of colleagues and management who are all supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. Its a shame the ethos and culture do not support the driver.

Not a bad place to work
Only worked here for a short time. People are lovely. Big area to cover as a delivery driver, definately fast paced and long hours. Not a place to be workshy.

Driver at Crawley
Nice place to work, everyone really helpful. Easy job, reasonable pay and benefits. Really good location, on bus route. Can be long days but this is usually out of your control

Nothing good to say
You can't trust the management they make their own rules up to suit them very clicky in the office can be very spiteful and bullying at times the customer services manager needs to go on a course to learn how a customer services manager should manage a office in a professional manner
