Management are knowledgeable, mainly supportive and know the job inside out, however the expectations are too high. Consistently send their drivers along roads that are not designed for LGVs and then blame drivers when an accident inevitably happens, making them pay the £1000 excess. Or when the ONLY option is to park illegally to make a delivery and they get a ticket, they will have to pay for that too. If you refuse to make a delivery because the roads are unsuitable or it will result in a parking ticket you will be made to feel guilty or ineffective at your job. That said, if you are able to accept the above, this is a good supportive company with a bright and prosperous future. You could honestly do much worse.Good group of colleagues and management who are all supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. Its a shame the ethos and culture do not support the driver.
Management know their stuff and understand the job completely
Long hours, blame culture, poor salary package
bosses couldn't care about you 1 thing happens they blow up cause its basically teenagers running the coatbridge office is actually shocking basically you against a customer if anything goes wrong even though you done it right expect a final written warning
everything apart from finish but thats to change
You can't trust the management they make their own rules up to suit them very clicky in the office can be very spiteful and bullying at times the customer services manager needs to go on a course to learn how a customer services manager should manage a office in a professional manner
Worked for them at there bristol depot very disorganised company management not very good (higher management)depot management were ok all they are interested in is getting the work done.can be very long days and hard work not very well rewarded for what you do for them.
