How are the working hours at Travelodge?
Hours and shifts at the hotels will vary dependant on the role and your availability. Travelodge is focusing on getting the right people, in the right place at the right time and as such hours across hotels will flex dependant on occupancy, but you will always work the hours you are contracted to. How does someone get hired at Travelodge? What are the steps along the way?
A selection matrix is used to set out the content of the assessments; however this may vary depending on the role complexity, level, challenges and geographical location. Assessments for roles at Travelodge are likely to consist of a combination of the following: Telephone interview: Where a member of the Resourcing Team calls you to discuss the role, your skills and experience. If successful you'll be invited through to next stage or contacted to let you know if you've unsuccessful this time. Competency based interviews: Which include both technical and behavioural questions which reflect the skills required in the role and the Travelodge Behaviours. You'll be expected to draw on your previous experience to demonstrate your ability to take on the role. Work-based assessments/in-tray exercises/role plays: You may be asked to carry out an exercise during the selection process that reflects an element of the role that you’re applying for. Case studies and presentations: For some roles, you may be asked to prepare a presentation prior to the selection day/interview. Make sure you're comfortable with the brief and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Testing: For some positions within Travelodge, the selection process may also include some form of psychometric testing. If you have any questions, please contact the Resourcing Team or the Hotel directly.Asked 16 March 2017
