Truck Driver in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
on 12 May 2022
Hard work, tiring, early starts, multidrop, better than average wage.
Multi drop delivering food.Up to 20 or so deliveries a day.Local runs and further a field but always finished by 4 or 5.Not uncommon to finish early too. Most shifts start at 5 or 6 am.Trucks already loaded at start of shift.A lot of handballing and dragging heavy cages over uneven car parks. All other drivers are a nice bunch. All bonuses are achievable and its uncommon not to get them if your following company rules and not having accidents.

Avoid, an absolute joke
Lazy useless management, they bring their family in to get all the good jobs. Everyone else is ignored for promotion and given the worst tasks to do. Bigoted staff and very poorly organised. You never get any time off and the pay is poor.

Absolutely shambolic
Turner and price are a very bad company to work for with very poor management in particular noted at the Newton aycliffe site. The company does not pay as advertised, you are expected to work longer hours than stipulated. If you question your pay it results in the termination of your contract. A bad experience stay clear !!!!!
