A very professional mentoring service
Tutor Face-to-face Economics, Online Tutor - History (Former Employee) - London - 26 August 2022
I have worked with Tutor Doctor on two occasions as a personal tutor. This meant I provided tutoring on a one-on-one basis. It was my first impression and experience the first time around that led me to work with them a second time. I found them to be professional and efficient. They always seek to match the right students with my skills and experience. From my dealings with their offices I got the impression that they has a good working culture, one of partnership and cooperation.
Pros
I did not work on their premises, therefore there were no personal contact with the staff.
Cons
I set my own hours in agreement with Tutor Doctor and the student's need

It doesn't feel like a job!
Tutor (Current Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 1 April 2022
My experience with Tutor Doctor has been amazing. The job itself is so rewarding, being able to help these children with their individual needs, getting to learn with them and witness real-time results is very motivating. The company is great in terms of being responsive, I know they're only ever a text away. They are also very caring and welcoming, and want to know each of their tutors well before introducing us to families. They have a genuine care for our personal lives and want to see us succeed and enjoy the job we're doing. The amount of support and guidance they offer through the whole process is amazing - you couldn't really ask for more! This is a great opportunity for me, I am wanting to become a High School teacher, so this experience is very valuable. The company has been very understanding and supportive of this. They are considerate of other obligations I have outside of work, such as my uni assignments, I couldn't ask for better flexibility really. So far it hasn't really felt like a job - I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Supportive and rewarding role
Tutor (Current Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 31 March 2022
Selina was very supportive at the beginning, during and end of the role I took as a tutor. I was able to fit the role around my busy schedule at university and placement and was able to get in touch with Tutor Doctor Crewe if I needed anything. Nothing was ever too much. Rewards and benefits were given which was appreciated as I knew I was being valued.

supportive company to work for
Tutor (Current Employee) - Southampton - 24 March 2022
I really enjoy working for tutor Doctor. They introduced their systems well and the pay is fair. They give you independence and trust your judgments with your students, but are available for guidance should you need it. The only slight hiccup is the availability of hours. I wouldn't leave a job for this one, as you are only offered work if and when it's available.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience with this company during the CO-VID 19 lockdown. The manager was excellent, she communicated effectively with me, and (with no complaint) paid me the sort of wage that I feel my skills and qualifications deserve.

Great company to work for
Educational Consultant (Current Employee) - Stansted, Essex - 6 June 2020
Very pleasant working environment. The Director is approachable and supportive. The position is customer facing and you need very good people skills, the job involves visiting students in their homes to assess them and then to match them to a suitable tutor. A very satisfying position indeed.

Great part-time work
Tutor (Former Employee) - Kingston upon Thames, Greater London - 20 April 2020
Fantastic and flexible hours, completely decided by yourself. Brilliant online log system to track progress and working hours. Only thing I would say is that it is not a job you can do solely. It is fantastic part time to earn extra money and pays really well per hour, however unless you have a lot of students to teach in the same area, it can be difficult to gain enough hours per week.
