Work-life balance

Finance Analyst in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
on 13 February 2020
Very good place for work life balance - work is fast paced and interesting. Loads of room for progression and short term opportunities, mangers also very supportive in my experience
Senior Economist in London, UK
on 7 July 2020
Poorly paid and disheartening
Worked here for five years awhile back. I don’t think anything has changed. It’s poorly paid and the organization is obsessed (with capital O) with shoveling money out the door rather than having any impact. It’s a very very left wing organization. They recruit mainly from NGOs and charities. As a result there is a deep distrust of the private sector - and love affair with Oxford etc. everyone reads the Gursain
IT Support in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
on 23 November 2019
Good overall department to work for, but a poor place for IT staff to work
IT is poor place for a career which is a shame as there are some good people. Sadly both IT teams are led by really low calibre deputy directors and as a result morale is rock bottom. Everyone wants to leave, which they are doing on a weekly basis at the moment.
Assistant Facilities Manager in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
on 31 July 2019
Interesting place
With a department this size there are various interesting areas to work, ranging form standard back office functions to overseas programme management.
Administrative Assistant in South Lanarkshire
on 8 January 2019
friendly team-based support for civil services
provided support for the various associates involve in the management of government run programs, both local and international. Very open with promoting initiative to make the business day run smoothly and easier.
