A lot of change and very fast paced environment. Process can be slow however and take time to do. Change is expected as everyday something is changing but can be hard

Constant change of rule. Inadequate training and incompetent management . What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Toxic at times. Full of I experienced staff and staff who have been in post for many years and are very experienced are never consulted or listened to when opinions given . Any disagreement with management was always seen as negativity. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Constant stress constant change and have to deal with unrealistic expectations

Not a job for career
RHQ Staff Clerk (Current Employee) - Yeovilton - 8 November 2023
The most enjoyable thing is my Army colleagues. The worst thing is being a civil servant. Terrible wages with no prospect of growing your role even if this has changed over the years. Although probably the safest job to have you have to resign to the fact that you will not really have a career.
Pros
Working for the Army
Cons
No training or career prospects within the Civil Service
