Good company
Good salary, nice colleagues. Team leaders can be hit or miss. Overall had nice experience but would not stay there for a long time, as the work can get tedious and there is little progression

Street fundraising, Difficult to get sign ups, Winter, cold wet, travelling long distances,
Appreciate what company trying to achieve, but as street fund raiser it can entail a lot of hours traveling on trains to streets to then stand in wet and cold all day constantly being ignored, sometimes left to find your own way home from miles away cancelled trains etc team leaders very clicky and can be unsympathetic. Excellent
I was a volunteer for this company some time ago, and I have nothing but positive memories about this organisation. There were plenty of opportunities to give back and I always felt as if the awards given were the right mix of difficulty but also achievable for people such as myself who hadn’t been awarded much else before their time in UNICEF.

A typical day working for UNICEF consisted of meeting my team on a morning, having a quick briefing over a coffee, then being told where we were located for the day. I learned communication skills, and the training provided me with a lot of knowledge about the charity itself.
