Plenty of Shifts
I worked as a bank nurse for 5 years at QEHB- There were always ample shifts and the opportunity to nurse on a variety of wards. Like all ward based nursing, the shifts can be both physically and emotionally draining.

Good people, lack of staff
The place it’s self is ok to work but the lack of staff make it dangerous . Always short staffed and asked to take charge on a band 5 salary. Staff are lovely.

Great workplace
I love working for UHB as there is never two days which are the same. The team are dedicated and work together to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible. Started during covid to help with the massive vaccination service and havent look back. Great job

Dreadful shift patterns
Loved my job until management came along who started empire building with in the Facilities departments. The us and them syndrome between management and the portering and house keeping was dreadful and if you became a supervisor or higher they were told that all those work friends you had are no longer your friends and would be frowned upon if your seen being friendly.
