Very well organised place to work for. All the training and site induction lasted a week before actually start working, all training paid. Excellent place to work.
A highly stressful but rewarding job with some opportunities to expand your role.
Ability to undertake additional roles within the Trust.
Attending the Local Negotiating Committee as a trust Representative was especially rewarding

Varied daily workload,. No 2 days are the same. The level of relationships, Communication. Opportunities always someone you can talk to. Friendly professional caring. Transferable skills.
A great place to work, though with anything NHS, it takes a long while from when you have a interview until you have a unconditional offer - a lot of red tape and you do have to push them a bit to get things moving when things go quite.
A hard fast paced job, but very rewarding work wise
A typical day at work would involve taking numerous calls about patient enquiries along with patient enquiries in person, greeting and welcoming patients/visitors along with other out-of-hour responsibilities such as handling patient transport and patient case notes. The workload can range from light to heavy depending on patient traffic that particular day, however, there is a lot of responsibility to multi-task. The hardest part of the job would be the long shift patterns and the out of hour patient transport management as it can be complex with the limited resources out of hours. This service directly affects patients so can be frustrating for them in particular when there are delays and complications.
UHBT is a friendly and welcoming work place, there is always support from management. The hospital staff are always polite and are willing to stop and have a chat.
Variety of clinical and non-clinical roles offered across a number of hospital sites. The organisation has been awarded 'Outstanding' status from the Care Quality Commission which is an excellent achievement.
