Apply online but one caveat - be sure you can get a full 3 years references from ALL previous employers if you have had more than one in that 3 year period. If you don't, the hospital's HR Department will withdraw any job offer they have given you, even if you have had glowing references from your most recent employers. It sounds ridiculous (which it is), but this is what happened me when I applied for an IT job with them, just because I have had the misfortune to have had more than one job in the last 3 years and one referee who said they would answer did not do this, the Royal Bournemouth Hospital's gormless HR department withdrew the conditional offer, so be warned! The hospital's HR department appear to have a profuse lack of common sense.
