How did you feel about telling people you worked at Values In Care?

I have worked for this company for few years. I absolutely love my job but do feel that the favouritism through the company is rife when some people work hard to get where they are and some just have it given to them on a plate, and it does cause animosity towards colleagues! I do feel that the residents don’t do all they should be because of the number of stuff on shift.

I do feel some seniors act like managers when their title is just a senior support worker and you still do the same as a support worker just some of them feel this being a power trip!!

I think if the pay was more for weekends and nights you would see more people helping out. I do think sometimes you should have a shuffle around as some people get to compliant within their home!

Honestly I enjoy my days working here but do think credit needs to be shared out equally then you may see a difference within your team.

I left the company two years ago to follow a new challenge, but even two years later I still tell people how great the company is. I appreciated my time their and am thankful for all the opportunities provided to me. I’m proud to say I have worked there and if the opportunity arose would definitely go back.

Embarrassed to say the least

I have no problem in telling people about my time with Values in Care. It's not said with any malice when i tell them the truth that there are much better companies to work for.

I'm truthful about working for vic. They leave a lot to be desired as a potential employer.

I believe people should be honest about their employer with potentially new staff. Unfortunately their not a very good company to work for.

Why would you? Awful company to work for. Poor management, poor pay and long hours.

For money and nothing else but to be honest i wouldnt recommend them to anybody
