My experience with Veolia has been a good one.The staff are all friendly, willing to help each other, and hardworking.Everyone works hard to achieve the best outcome for their work. You are challenged daily and you have the option to get involved with tasks and events which you wouldn't normally get a chance too. Management are fair and accommodating if you need to rearrange work or attend events such as events to do with your children. I would recommend Veolia

Mangers are horrible

A typicl day at work was great at the start, i learned not to take 3 days of work for being really unwell, management are horrible because when you text them to say I can't come in because I am unwel they text me back and told me I need to come in or I will lose my job, the most enjoyable part about the job is the lovely work mate's I meet and they all know I was great at work and I was a really hard worker and they all know what I went through with the managers which is very unfair but it's there fault that they have lost someone that was good worker!!!

I have been working at veolia for just over a year and it is shocking, management constantly get away with anything going out as they please for example going to get hair cuts or buying their dinner for the evening during work hours but give you a hard time when your calling in sick.Health and safety is shambles

Innovative and fast paced

Veolia is a massive company, more like multiple companies in one giant company. The business they cover is that of a small country, and they are global, so as such everything is at scale, which brings new challenges and different ways of thinking. There is a hybrid approach to working in my business area, which is very appealing, giving you that great work-life balance, which is based on trust as it should be. My manager is very supportive about every aspect of my job and work-life balance. Training and development is highly encouraged.

Hard graft decent pay

No day ever the same

Veolia Basingstoke what a shambles, make up.tjings to kick you out the door, drivers leaving like no tomorrow, most off management are younger than drivers aswell. Pro off job drivers are nice & wages are fair the good stops there. Bad experience, avoid!!!!

In my nearly 10 years of driving hgvs Veolia was probably the best job I had. Eight hour shift. Early start early finish. Decent pay realxed atmosphere. Decent trucks.

He works all day under the open sky. This is sometimes not very good, because of the weather. But it is a thousand times better than working in a warehouse! If you do your work decently, everything will be fine!😃

Horrible place to work

Worked there for 8 years. Constantly had pay problems. Lazy employees given promotions and all the benefits whilst hard workers was given nothing. Management was horrific and singled people out due to personal preferences and not being in agreement with them all the time.

What is the best part of working at the company?Nothing worked 10 years .health detirated because of conditions there dust .What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Health .and management never on sho0 floor. Supervision staff never.

Was okay , the money is low

Better places to work for and the money is low , the only good thing was that it was 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday, 6.45 till 6pm , they say it's job and finish but you will do your round and then be made to help someone else

Management don’t have a clue! Training haha if your lucky you will have one days training, Drivers are bully’s! Office don’t have a clue what they are doing! Don’t work there avoid!!
