Awful company don’t bother
People that work for verve tend not to be paid on time/correctly. Shifts can be cancelled at a moments notice. No communication from management to employees. I’ve had 3 different rates of pay for doing the same job and 2 different rates of holiday pay which makes no sense. They currently have no shifts for the current employees too yet are still hiring more staff. All round useless company would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a decent working environment. Also no variety to the shifts it’s pretty much just the uni in Chester

Terrible
They make it sound so good saying you can pick when you want to work and how long, they said they have people working 40 hour weeks and some working 4 when in reality when you apply for a shift 9/10 it will get rejected even months in advance. A lot of the time i had a shift rejected then it just gets put back up again anyway. They also cancel shifts a lot, I had a shift cancelled the same morning I was meant to work then 30 minutes before the shift they rang me and said can I go in. Very unprofessional and unstable you wont get many shifts. It’s okay as a starter job if you’ve had no experience and can’t get a job anywhere but in general it’s just a waste of time.

Don’t bother
Honestly, don’t even bother. They sound great at the start, flexible hours, no experience needed etc. but it’s a bunch of bs. Applied for numerous shift and all were either cancelled last minute or I arrived and forced to go home due to them “over booking” with the promise of 2 hours pay but got nothing! Management never reply to emails and the interview process was an induction with a bunch of other people.Take it from me, there’s much better companies out there!

Unfairly treated and staff are just snakes
I worked under Vevre for a month and believed I was working efficiently then one day the staff begin start to spread lies about me at work and to my supervisor. . Even though none of them were true I wasn't even given a chance to speak or defend myself and they didn't even investigate and they blocked me from where we book shifts and they didn't event tell me I'm not needed at the job I had to call them to confirm if I still work their. The worst part is that I'm a student and they are treating me like this. I suggest don't work their long-term its a short term job. Finally the pay isn't even that great you can work somewhere else.
