Loads of stuff were calling in sick.. we were not taught anything about the job when we started. Management were never around. Covering all departments for minimum wage. Customers always complaining about rooms.

Free gym

Low wage for super hard work

Avoid like plague

dire managers, poor training, snobby rude managers who sit at desk all day and do nothing to help, no food facilities so take your own!!… no intrest in staff welfare or well being whatsoever

Overall positive working environment

Nice place with good facilities and friendly staff. Perks of free gym membership and staff discount. Understaffed in my department. Unsociable working hours which are to be expected in hospitality.

Productive and Fun Workspace

Great place to work with a great team of people. Great management and even greater clients! No progressions in pay even if you are performing better yearly with hitting targets or day to day work.

Productive and fun workplace

Absolutely loved being a spa therapist here everyone I worked with was lovely and manger was amazing. This is a place where my confidence really grew, it was a very fun environment and I never dreaded coming to work. It’s such a shame it closed down and I lost my employment here due to covid-19 because I loved working there and still miss it to this day

Tiring and not enjoyable

Management always has their favourites, no weekends off ever, always exhausted due to the physicality of the job, no support. Can be very hard to get many hours in so in the end pay isn’t always the best.

Going home

No work life balance

It was okay. Lots of benefits

Paid training in Walsall Inc transport and food. Good work life balance. Free gym membership for you and one person. Lots of benefits but the pay is not great.

I worked for this company for one year. Nice and friendly environment. Cleaning rooms with high standart. You need to be fast and do a good job.

Stressful, unsupportive and lack of training

Wouldn’t recommend working here, it was an extremely stressful job where I found I was emotionally exhausted. I was expected to complete the jobs of 3 different departments for basic wage. Management was not good to work for at all.

Long hours

Long hours go unnoticed, meet great people there. Working until 2/3 am and then back it at 12 am next day it’s not ideal. Pay is not to great for the work and stress your under.

Awful place of work

Between the ridiculously unsocial hours and the bare minimum pay, you can expect to spend your day here being looked down upon from the cliquey sales team. No room for career development & the ask to be put in additional courses is practically laughed at, despite being offered to other departments. Only work here if you’re content with not moving forward in your career.

Poor values

Not a people led business. Very much focused on making savings, cutting costs and it shows in all of the quality of ingredients etc. Big fuss made over high level management (Regional Dirs, Ops Dir, etc) and they love the attention of gifts in rooms, VIP treatment but this isn't given to team members or guests.

Typical housekeeping job, not great, not terrible

I worked there pre-Covid, the housekeeping staff were overworked and underpaid as in most hotel chains, but I had a friendly team which made work better.

it’s alright

It’s okay when it’s good but some members of staff are really rude and you can do no good around them spoiling the whole job. Managers are great overall okay

Staff were great to work with minus the management

Not enough training given and was told I’d receive more support but I didn’t so was let go unfairly, hated lying to the members that throng a would be working soon when they weren’t. Staff were great to work with however certain management were not supportive. Very clicky environment, very high turnover of staff too.Long hours, covering shifts out of choice and wanting to help out the team and received no acknowledgment of appreciation, neither do you get positive feedback from making targets or doing well, always more you can do

Free membership

No appreciation, always more you can do

Great company

My experience with the company has been really good. They company as a whole look after you, we get great benefits and the company offer support if you feel as though you are struggling. The general manager at the hotel is lovely and approachable and would go out of his way to make everyone feel appreciated and part of the team. This is by far one of the better places I’ve worked!

Lots of benefits
