Awful
Sales Advisor (Current Employee) - Stockton-on-Tees, Durham - 22 September 2023
Poor management. Had an issue with equipment manager then lied which resulted in a meeting blaming myself. Poor help with sick days regardless of the issue Allowed more time off for dependancy for other people than you are for your own health

Fun and exciting, but also challenging.
Network Engineer (Former Employee) - London - 18 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? For my day to day job team work was essential. As a network engineer with multiple roles, skill sets of everyone member of staff was very important. With continuous growth, with every opportunity taken we were all engaged and happy to work for a company we new would do well. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Lone working at night was difficult, because you can't get all the help you may need. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fun and exciting as new technologies came along we were happy to see development. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Some days or weeks routine maintenance and other times network build or fault finding.

Disgusting
Field Technician (Former Employee) - Glasgow, Glasgow - 8 September 2023
Absolutely disgusting company to work for. Constantly being expected to work past your finish time with no extra pay. Bully culture amongst managers. "Mandatory" 15 hours overtime required every month. Drilling into concrete etc without the correct ppe

Long hours
Field Service Engineer (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 30 August 2023
Long hours and high workload . Very stressful. Poor support from management and annoying push to upsell and get referrals. Money is okay but not worth it

Service Delivery Coordinator (Current Employee) - Peterborough, Cambridgeshire - 24 August 2023
100% recommend, only issue is it is no longer working from home role which was promised during covid and we are now expected to go in twice a week. Staff and management are amazing.

Jobs at Virgin Media
Lots of travel
Field Sales Executive (Current Employee) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire - 22 August 2023
Lots of chance to make decent money however higher earning reps are doing dodgy things which managers overlook as it’s making them money be prepared to do a lot of travelling

Bad
Call Centre Agent (Current Employee) - Plymouth, Devon - 21 August 2023
Overbearing managers that constantly tell you your doing things wrong even if you have a great day. Managers only care if your doing perfect as you effect their bonus. Also managers sit on their phones not doing their jobs
Pros
Your not unemployed
Cons
Literally everything

Waste of time and effort!
Customer Retentions Advisor (Current Employee) - Sheffield - 17 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Very clicky, unsupportive Management, KPI’s that even experienced agents can’t hit because they make it impossible with rubbish discounts available for customers. Don’t waste your time!! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Underhanded Management, impossible KPI’s at times. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very clicky, if the face doesn’t fit kind of place. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Stressful, more bad days than good.

Could be brilliant, challenging times ahead
Commercial Manager (Current Employee) - Hammersmith, Greater London - 16 August 2023
Overall a great company with lots of interesting work to get involved with. Lots of great people unfortunately being managed through lots of change by a leadership team that are unable to communicate their vision clearly, bringing two large organisations together seems to be beyond the capabilities of those in charge. Pay and benefits are in line with other companies in the industry and a very relaxed approach to WFH which is great.

Good experience
Faults Advisor (Former Employee) - SWANSEA - 15 August 2023
It was good working here, great manager, nice team. Sadly got made redundant due to the site closing but my time here was enjoyable. Lots of prizes to keep people motivated and a generally nice atmosphere.

Good place to work at first until outsourced and merged with 02, frustrating is the cut backs on commission as now earning less than was 5 years ago, don't know many jobs where you are put in the position earning less than you did 5 years ago doing the same job role

Worse company I have ever worked for
Field Technician (Former Employee) - Northampton - 7 August 2023
Stress, stress and more stress. Constantly changing and whoever talks out is treated bad within the company. To much work for one person, no wonder staff turnover is so high and if you do stay expect to have no life.
Pros
Fuel card, bupa.
Cons
Long hours, management is poor and have no experience on the tools.

Challenging, Rewarding, Dynamic organisation
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Wythenshawe, Cheshire - 7 August 2023
If you are looking to learn, be challenged, and have a passion for customer service then Virgin Media is a great place to work. There overall package is in my expeeience veey good. However the last few years have seen significant change to the business. Change brings uncertainty and this can cause a high degree of stress. One thing you can be assured of is you will learn alot. Its sink or swim here.

Ok place, questionable leaders, poor pay
Planning Assistant (Former Employee) - Bristol - 3 August 2023
Office and people are gold. Leadership chop and change their ideas. Immediate managers just about the numbers. Pay isn't great for the stress or hours worked.
