They do favouritism they tell you the truth , when they need you they talk good ,When they see that their work has started, they start being dishonest, They call people and say that your permanent job is available and the next day they work with someone else.

Greedy people just wanting money.Robbing employees.Never pay the wages on time.Just after money and never bothered about their employees.Underpay employees holiday pays.You cannot see your holidays anywhere.Many staff never get paid on time and never get their holiday pays.Always ingnore your emails.Ask for some help then you will be charged as admin fee.Clear robbers.Stay away forever.

Beware !

No communication skills.Everything e-mail,text message.No team players. No one interested in your welfare,and not a single meeting between management and their staff..Poor pay in certain jobs for the tasks they want you to perform..The least effort jobs are the highest paid !!Poor uniform,but you do have a choice of second hand used stuff to choose from.Run by kids that think their positions make them top of the game.Could be a great outfit,if they had the proper insight and liasoned with their staff.AND THE TELME APP THAT WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS !!Glad to get out of the job.

Overworked

You’re expected to work hundreds of hours per month and they don’t have a fair shift rota on their sites, therefore the officers are expected to work over their contracted hours with no overtime rate for the additional hours worked, although those hours go beyond your normal contracted hours. Management simply don’t care about any concerns. Sites don’t get covered because they send guards without doing the correct screening or training. I was so happy leaving this company.

Good Company

Worked for Vistech for over 3 years and never had any real problems. Shifts were sometimes changed without notice but this was usually due to outside problems. Always paid on time and the office staff were great always happy to help with any problems.

Ok but working on a site in Hampshire for a company based in Middlesbrough has its downfalls. No site visit by management, poor communication with client and noone to provide appraisals or motivation make it a challenging position to be in.

Health and Safety non existant

Health and Safety is non existent at this company. If you are injured nothing happens. If you complain nothing happens. If you do not have the right equipment nothing happens. Clients are charged for days gaurds are not on duty. Cases where 2 Gaurds are required more often than none one guard is provided and client is billed for two gaurds.

Easily the best security company in teesside

Ive thouroughly enjoyed my time at vistech and dont plan on leaving any time soon, they are the best in terms of reliable wages, bank holidsy bonus, quality uniform, paid breaks, veriety of work and often unlimited access to overtime. The team are spot on for the most part, easy to get along with, right balance of professional and casual to get the job done properly while maintaining a relaxed friendly atmosphere, bad apples are rare and dont last long. Managment are down to earth and very understanding of everyones personal situations/work style and are helpful in looking after our welfare and helping us to progress and excell in our roles. Pay is always correct and on time, if you enjoy making money and are wanting to take on a lot of hours its the perfect setup as no other company locally comes close in terms of shift availability 10/10

Bad company. When u refuse his shift they will change sin pin after covering emergency shifts that's it. Very bad management very bad behaviour. Very difficult to find their sites. Whe u call nobody will attend call. And even u go to site on time they will deduct time if u cannot find their site. Very bad company!!!

A day at there site in blackpool isnt your simple guard night shift. Your a support security officer and thats a push. You have to be caring, understanding, deal with difficult situations, look after those with needs, look after a building, deal with local neighbours, loads of anti-social behaviour, drink and drug problems. You need the 4 days off after a shift.The management ... well helps if you know what manager you report to. I finally found out after a few months being there. We had a meeting to discuss issues and nothing was done. Your not listened to. The main control line is ok after being informed what you deal with. The company took this contract without knowing what they were getting into.

Pros

24/7 Control Line, Response Unit if required, 4 on 4 off.

Cons

Minimum wage. Doors Supervising is easier.

If your happy been paid minimum wage been a professional security guard this is the job for you. If you ring in sick they will delete ur shifts if ur car breaks down they will delete ur shifts..no excuses simply auful can't believe company's like this are allowed anymore

Great place to work

I am currently working for Vistech. They have constantly kept me in work and have given me several extra hours of work. I can honestly say that if you want work this is the place to go!. Okay so they may pay a little less than other companies but there is always the opportunity to make your money up by working extra hours. They do not get upset if you say no. Wages always paid on time and have had no issues.Highly recommend.

Shocking and disappointing organisational management

4 times i was given the same shift for the same day 3 times it was taken from me with a reminder at stupid o'clock in the morning and then to be told the permanent job i was told i was walking into was 2week cover after that it was a hopfully and asap shifts not very professional or good when i got a family to support

Terrible pay compared to other site workers. Rude and hostile management. Can be fired at a moments notice.I'd strongly advise you avoid them if possible, they'll be a load of information they won't tell you until it's too late.
