The Spirit of Vodafone

Join a dynamic community that believes in Inclusion for All. Our shared behaviours and beliefs, known as The Spirit of Vodafone, makes this an empowering place to be. Enjoy working with great people and diverse perspectives that will inspire you.
Everyone at Vodafone can make an impact in their role. Because your work matters, whether you’re leading a future-focused initiative for our customers or providing the colleague support that makes those initiatives possible.
Enjoy competitive pay and benefits alongside a balanced approach to flexibility that considers your needs with those of the business. We’ve designed our approach to help you look after yourself and your loved ones and we have practices and policies in place to support your health, safety and wellbeing.

Diversity & Inclusion

We know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them. Recognising this is fundamental to how we approach inclusion at Vodafone. Similarly, our networks work collaboratively, share best practices and take a truly inclusive approach to amplify the voices of all of our people and communities.
We’re proud to offer equal opportunities regardless of age, cultural background, disability, gender, marital status, nationality, political belief, race, religious or sexual orientation. We can only leverage this diversity by building an inclusive culture where everyone is respected, can be themselves and strive to be their best. That way we can build a better future for our employees, our partners, the communities we work in and our customers.

Inclusion For All

Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (REACH) – Whether it’s at work or in the community, we’re doing our part to end racial inequality. Through initiatives, events and training we’re taking action against the barriers many people face.
We’ve set ourselves targets to make sure we’re doing more to end racial inequality everywhere. By 2025, we will increase the number of people from ethnically diverse heritages in leadership positions to 20% of UK-based senior management, 4% of whom will be Black.
Through our REACH strategy, we’re also focussing on the barriers many people face due to their race, ethnicity or cultural heritage. This includes initiatives like reciprocal mentoring, talent development programmes and investing in more inclusive recruitment tools.

Inclusion For All

Gender Equality – We’re committed to making the wider world, as well as our business, a fairer, more equal place for women. How? By empowering them to realise their potential and promoting gender equality wherever we can.
LGBT - We want Vodafone to be an inclusive place for everyone. As part of that commitment, we’re not only working to support our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender community but to increase their representation within our workforce too.
Disability & Accessibility – At Vodafone, we focus on the things people can do, if given the right environment. And we’re committed to creating it for as many people as possible – whether that’s through individual adjustments, improved accessibility, or better understanding of disability.
Parents & Carers – Whether they’re welcoming a new member to the family, raising a child with a disability or special educational needs, or caring for a sick or elderly loved one, we’re here to help our people balance a great career with the things that matter outside work.isability.

Flexible Working

Hybrid Working - It’s fine to love flexibility of working from home but also thrive on connecting with colleagues in the office. In fact, our hybrid working policy aims to capture just that. When you need to be at your most productive you can work from home. When you need to be creative, collaborate, or just simply reconnect, you can come into the office.
Parental Leave - Anyone who’s having a baby, adopting a child, or becoming a parent through surrogacy at Vodafone UK can take up to 16 weeks paid leave at any time during their first 18 months of becoming a parent. You also have the flexibility to work a 30-hour week for six months after this, to help you transition back to work.
Work from anywhere - Our Work From Anywhere Policy allows people the opportunity to connect with loved ones, focus on their wellbeing, or add variety to their working setup with 100% remote working for up to 4 weeks from a location of their choice.
