Our Values

As co-owners we all have a share in the business and a shared commitment to go above and beyond for each other and our customers. We have a set of five values that were created by Partners, for Partners, to explain what it means to be a Partner and what makes a great one. They also guide our commitment to empower all Partners who work here, whichever part of the business they work in, and drive our ‘For us, it’s personal’ promise to our customers.

Our Future

In October 2020 we unveiled our five-year, self-funding, Partnership Plan. It positions Waitrose and John Lewis as the go-to brands for customers who want quality, value and sustainability and was the result of seven months' work, where we listened to feedback from more than 10,000 customers, over 100 suppliers and local community groups and 12,000 Partners, who submitted more than 650 ideas. And who is at the heart of this plan... our Partners of course.
