Great work life balance in a constantly changing world

The business is in a tough and constantly shifting industry. Whilst it is trying constantly to keep its partnership ethos intact its challenging! This has generally led to an air of uncertanty
Pros
Good benefits, shared ownership
Cons
Reducing job security, poor pay, high turn over and low moral

Great benefits
Manager (Current Employee) - Various - 1 August 2018
I have enjoyed my time at Waitrose, there are some great people working there and they do look after their employees better than most retailers. Pay is not always the best but the benefits go along way to making up for this.
Pros
Nice people
Cons
Becoming more like the other Supermarkets to work for

Restructuring of retail processes damaging brand
Manager (Former Employee) - South - 10 March 2018
Due to restructuring across the board and saving money the company has become a laughing stock internally. Instead of saving money in other areas of the business such as point of sale, marketing, discontinued lines, pointless advertising, campaigns not lasting and the list goes on. Standards have slipped incredibly and food and partner safety is being compromised on a daily basis. Board members arguing and top board members leaving which never happened previously. As soon as the company realise they are no longer an upmarket supermarket the better.
Pros
Benefits are now being offered in other companies similar
Cons
Working extra not getting paid
