Reviews about Pay & benefits for Retail Sales Associate at Waitrose & Partners
Not great pay.
Retail Assistant (Current Employee) - Monmouth, Monmouthshire - 31 August 2023
Waitrose is suffering difficulties at the moment and unfortunately staff seem to be expected to take on ever more tasks in the same time frame, whilst having some of their benefits such as subsidised canteen eroded by recent price increases. The hourly pay rate is lower than equivalent retailers/Wetherspoons etc. Some managers don't understand how to get the best from staff and actually contribute to low morale. Some are very good though.

Good company
Store Assistant (Former Employee) - Welwyn Garden City - 8 May 2023
Company is fine to work for. Good benefits. Worked as a job while I was a student and was decent. Benefits are good and the company has good morals. Perhaps not someone looking for progression

Pros
Decent benefits
Cons
Unorganised, unprofessional management
