Reviews about Pay & benefits for Section Manager at Waitrose & Partners
Great company to work for
Section Manager (Former Employee) - Teignmouth, Devon - 3 November 2019
Was an enjoyable experience working with Waitrose. Loved the culture and work ethic.
The benefits are amongst the best in the industry.
Sadly the branch I was working was sold to LIDL.

Business experience major change
Section Manager (Former Employee) - Crewkerne, Somerset - 5 July 2019
A unique business to work in but changing dramatically. Benefits being substantially reduced and pay for managers now falling behind the rest of the market.
The business is seeking to become more commercial but has a legacy of high head office costs and unusual management and governing structures.
The amount of change being rolled out out to branches and head office has resulted in cost pressures and issues with accountability.
The business still has some great benefits for staff which are quite unusual in the industry.
Pros
Benefits and discounts
Cons
Poor work/life balance and poor pension scheme

Unique Employer but changing fast
Section Manager Food Retail (Current Employee) - Sherborne, Dorset - 23 June 2019
A very different employer with a unique ethos.
The business is changing rapidly with the structures of democracy being slimmed down and operating in a more commercial way.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
Rapid change
